How much is delivery?

UK delivery is £2.49 and generally takes 3 - 5 days. We selected the Royal Mail to deliver our books, as we think it is better for the environment to use the postman over delivery vans. We also use eco friendly, padded paper envelopes for our packaging wherever possible.

Are your books available in bookshops?

Our current series of six books are currently only available online but, as we grow, we hope to also sell them in independent, local bookshops to do our bit to support the High Street. At the moment, they

Your books seem expensive. Why is this?

We print our books in England with FSC certified paper from responsible sources. Our books are free of advertising and we incorporate the postage costs into the price we charge. We think not having adverts and incorporating environmental concerns into our products is worth paying a little extra for.

How do you decide who to feature?

You may wonder how we decide which places to feature in our guides. We do our research and speak to the people who live there, we believe there is nothing better than local knowledge and we back this up by visiting each place ourselves to experience each one and take our own photos. We believe there is nothing better than local knowledge when it comes to the best places to eat, drink and visit. That’s why we use social media to ask the people who live there to tell us where to go.

Who takes the photography?

We do. We travel and visit unannounced and make every recommendation based on our own experience and opinions. We want to show a real and genuine reflection of what we experienced when we visited a business. We use our photography to tell a story for each of the businesses we recommend. We want to bring each one to life and inspire our audience to visit and have the same experience for themselves.

Do the businesses pay to be featured?

No. We want people to be able to trust that our recommendations are just that. We think this honesty and integrity is a really important part of what we are trying to do. Every business that we recommend has been researched and invited. Each business appears on our site and in our travel guides for free.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase so offer a no quibble, 31 day returns policy. If your order doesn't arrive in perfect condition then we will happily replace it for you.
